Shatabdi Express (Delhi): ~5 hours

By Road 🚌

6-7 hours from Delhi via NH-72. Volvo buses available from ISBT.

Travel Tips

Before going to Dehradun, you must know this.

Wear comfortable shoes – there is a lot of walking

Must-try local food – Bal Mithai is a must-eat!

Keep cash — UPI doesn't always work at small shops

Do plan a day trip to Mussoorie (35 km)

Wear sunscreen — UV is strong in the mountains

Go sightseeing in the morning – it's less crowded

Fix auto/cab fare first – meter is not always reliable
